Built Environment Chapter

The Built Environment section of SCOPE's Community Report Card. 

Indicators include: population density, housing density, housing vacancies, total homes, total housing by housing type, evacuating population by storm category, public shelter capacity, building permits for affordable housing, building permits for GREEN construction, building permits for complete demolition, privately-owned residential dwelling permitted (total, single family, two-family, three and four family, five or more family), privately-owned residential dwellings permitted residential building/units, means of transportation to work (drove alone, carpooled, public transportation, walked), daily miles traveled per capita, Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) passenger trips, average fare, operating expense, number of airport passengers.
